I'll end up getting it. My girlfriend is more interested in it than I am.

All I can say is, this better be good... I REALLY hope this isn't another gimmicky piece of garbage... all I can think of when i see this is that eyetoy for PS2... when I saw that thing on TV I thought it was the coolest thing I'd ever seen, and then, a friend of mine got it and it was the dumbest thing I've ever used in my life... lolll

IDK about you guys, but I'll be waiting for some reviews on this one... I think purchasing this thing at release might be a mistake... I really hope this thing doesn't flop, because it looks freaking awesome

But that would be way too much like the Wii though...Maybe they should stretch it, and do an RPG sort of thing for the avatar?

I don't see why 'being too much like the Wii' is such a bad thing. The Wii is fun enough. I like bowling and boxing on the Wii, but not enough to buy one. If motion control is going to be offered on my favorite console, I want to embrace it. That said, if it turns out to be a colossal failure, I won't buy one.

A lot of people say that Project Natal is turning the 360 into the Wii, but the 360 is still coming out with bad ass games that look spectacular, and the Wii has Mario. One peripheral that can add some extra playability to our beloved system can't be all bad.

To not get! There are more important things than motion control!... Besides I like sitting down to play :)
