I've heard a lot of detractors and I agree with Detroit Sniper about wanting to sit and relax.
That said I really want to stay totally open minded toward Natal. (or whatever they end up calling this when it launches) Most of the people who are totally adverse to the idea seem to be under the impression that Natal is taking over and all games will work solely as Natal or nothing. This is NOT replacing controllers by any stretch of the imagination. It is more of a tool to enhance our total gaming experience.
I won't be running out the day it launches, but unless it is completely functionally flawed, I'm positive that it will find its way into our house.

Yes this would be a bite off the Wii and since I already have I will not be getting this.

Project Natal sounds like the Wii to me ... i could be wrong , but come on , get a group of friends , a big screen tv and play a game of Gears of War, chainsaw each other xD
... How would fighting games work with Natal ? xD

It probably won't. I had just said a minute ago that Natal is not designed to make the controller obsolete. Certain games won't be controlled by Natal, or you will have a choice to use it or not.
That is a huge difference between this and Wii. Wii forces you to use motion control for a lot of games. Natal, on the other hand, is a peripheral and not what the 360 is built around.

Like anything else with this sort of peripheral, it'll take a while after it is released before its real usage comes into the forefront. When it'll come out, it'll just be a gimmick but after a few month of being released, I think it'll so its true potenial. I interested to see what they'll do with this.
