Well the games that Sony is planning for the PS4 sound cool. I'm looking forward to the new Infamous and Killzone games and Knack looks interesting. And the Blizzard partnership sounds interesting. I'm excited to give Diablo 3 a try. Of course I'm not sure if Diablo 3 and other Blizzard game will come to the Xbox, but all I know now is that it's defiantly coming to the PS3, so I'm happy about that.

They're DEFIANTLY coming to PS3? Like with an open disregard for authority? Why are they being so defiant?

That's not much to go off of since it's just one person saying it, there's no backwards compatibility, and the rest of the info is nothing but rumors.

I know what you mean, and I would go one further. I was unimpressed by the graphics that they offered, some of which were definitely cinematics. Explosions and cars- great way to show off your console- things that have looked incredible since the early 2000s. I'm absolutely on the "wait and see" side of the fence for the ps4.

I feel like they're just so excessively focussed on social capabilities here. Not every gamer, in fact probably most, don't give a crap about a lot of that stuff. And all this cloud stuff is amazing, but it better only just be an option. Because if I had one of these things and I wanted to go take it with me to my cabin in the woods where there's no internet, I better be able to just pop in a disk and play without worrying about if there's enough room on my hard drive to carry all my games and saves and stuff or not be able to play at all because the game is only available on the cloud.

I am also in the "wait and see" camp. Once the system has 5 or more great exclusives and has gone down in price or updated its form factor then I'll probably grab one.

I DEFIANTLY agree with BoyzR too--this whole "has to be online"/cloud saves/no physical disc shit is for the birds. They need to realize that not all of their potential customers live in a crowded-ass city with good internet options.

Sony has confirmed that the PS4 will play physical disc and it will be blu-ray based like the PS3. For the "has to be online" thing I've only heard about that with the next Xbox.

i know there will be disks, but I dread the day that I feel is coming all too soon where disks are completely done away with and the users will not be able to handle it. I didn't hear that about the new xbox....

they already said that the online part is optional.

I'll see what Microsoft brings, I am definitely getting the new xbox or playstation at launch, once e3 comes around and all the announcements are made (like launch titles exclusives) then I'll decide which I want more.

really bummed I'll never get to play the last of us though.
