ok....this is the gheyest thing ive ever seen

watching tv, about to change the input so i can do some gaming, and a commercial comes on for a new movie. well, it looked ok (tbh it kinda looked like nightcrawler, it was some kid getting pushed around and he said he was different) but i kept watching it. turns out, its the new stfu Dragonball: Evolution movie...DUDE that movie looks so ghey....it has like, NOTHING to do w/ the series....i think the guy getting pushed around was goku....but they gave him powers he doesnt have. htis girl was standing at a locker, he put his hand up and made all of them just fly open and upchuck the contents in them....wtf much?

definately a movie that i dont plan on seeing

later on today i might go on youtube for those of you who havent seen the commercial. its diff from the trailer, if anyone saw that...has anyone else seen this commercial??

Just like the Legend of the Seeker tv series. They changed almost everything from the books and made it super retarded. The books by Terry Goodkind were awesome.

Obviously it won't be anywhere near the caliber of Toriyama-san's original work, but don't you think it will be just a little bit sweet to see a "live-action" Son Gokou throw a kamehameha into some dude's Ford Mustang??

Lol, I didn't even think of that until now. But would we actually see Goku go Super Saiyan in the film? I doubt it. In the manga/series he didn't go SS until the Frieza saga in Z, and this movie only pertains to Dragonball and not Z. And yeah, things could change since a lot of things have obviously already been changed, but I doubt it. They also should have at least made Chow Yun-Fat look like an old man with the use of makeup, etc. That is what Roshi is afterall. An old man

I know I kind of sound like I'm whining, but I grew up watching the DB/Z series(everyday after school on Toonami haha), and was fairly disappointed when I found out all these changes have been made. I know it was all to get new fans, and maybe even re-attract some of the original fans, but that's just my opinion on the matter.

i used to do that too...then the cartoon was canceled or put on a diff channel or whatever....and i had to stop....all these changes are dissapointing....nobody is the same anymore Dx

wait wtf? i dont remember piccolo being evil in the series....he was like, almost always fighting with goku, not against....

if they had actually gone w/ the cartoon storyline this mightve actually been a decent movie....like...throw raditz in here or SOMETHING....he might be in the dbz era, but still....i think itd be better if they added raditz, or nappa, or someone...

Dragon Ball: is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Akira Toriyama. It was originally serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump from 1984 through 1995

Dragon Ball Z: With the ending of Dragon Ball, Toei Animation quickly released a second anime television series, Dragon Ball Z
DBZ. Picking up where the first left off, Dragon Ball Z is adapted from the final twenty-six volumes of the manga series. It premiered in Japan on Fuji Television on April 26, 1989, taking over its predecessor's time slot, and ran for 291 episodes until its conclusion on January 31, 1996.

Dragon Ball GT: Produced by Toei Animation, Dragon Ball GT premiered on Fuji TV on February 2, 1996, and ran until November 19, 1997. The movie is suposed to take place during Dragonball's King Picollo saga... so no super saiyan. And i must say im a HUGE HUGE Dragonball Z fan and this movie looks like SHIT
