New Waffle Award Idea

I know we already have 4 different waffle awards here, but I was thinking that it might be time to add 1 or 2 more. We have burnt for 25k, bronze for 50k, silver for 100k and golden for 150k. I know that seems like enough, but there are so many people that are well over 150k now. There are a lot of regulars on this site that are close to, or well over 200k. Mini is over 400k. I'm sure when these awards were created 150k seemed almost out of reach, not so much anymore.

Maybe we could have 200k be platinum and 250k be diamond, or something like that. Maybe even jump to 250k for the first new one and 500k for the second one. The 500k would be the one that, for now, seems way out of reach, though someday will be much more common.

Not sure if anyone else thinks it's a good idea or not, but I thought I'd throw it out there.

It's been brought up by me before! Most people won't get close to 150k let alone 200k-250k. Sadly I just don't think we'll see any new waffle awards.

I think that depends on whether or not current GS is carried over to the next-gen console.

Sorry, I didn't know it had been brought up before. Though in your post you said you will probably never get silver or gold and you have them both now. Gamerscores are getting higher. Well, it was just my 2 cents...or AJ's 2 cents as it were.

Pretty sure it's already confirmed that it is carrying over....how new compared to old GS will be tracked is not known yet...

I also figure I would point out that as of this moment I am 99.99999% sure that anyone with 300k gamerscore is in the top ten of their respective location and most assuredly has the Head of State award. So honestly at this time awarding anyone another badge simply for 300k or more is just doubling up. I do think it would be nice to have a 200k or a 250k badge since there are a few members that have hit 200k and aren't even in the top 20 of their location (though I do believe probably only 100-200 members have hit 200k and aren't in the "Head of State" category).

I think that just one badge with your completion percentage in it (kinda like how TA does it) in everyones profile would work just fine. If not I guess just a different badge for every 10%

If my gamerscore isn't carried over I'm going back to Playstation, the only reason I got a 360 in the first place was sony didn't release their console until a year after microsoft and I got hooked on achievements. I think the waffle idea is a good one, the point of making diamond or platinum is hardly anyone will have those making it sacred.

I always wondered why you get all the waffles when your gamerscore goes up, shouldn't you just get the one you fall under instead of all of them?
