Today I received an email stating that Microsoft was giving me a free Xbox One. Upon further investigation I have found multiple sources stating that the email was legit. There have been many other people claiming that they have gotten free Killer Instinct codes as well as Xbox One consoles with the full launch line up and a 12 month live code.
In the email it says that you are to call a phone number and you will be required to authenticate your email address, gamertag, and special code that is on the email.
I even went as far as to contact xbox customer support and they said it was Legit.
When I tried to claim my free xbox I was asked to give my credit card information as well. They stated that I would not be charged, I was then given an order number and was told that I would receive a confirmation email shortly.
I immediately checked my email and found no confirmation email and was told that they would call me back in an hour, it has now just been over an hour and still no call or email.
I'm getting really nervous as to what is going on. Anyone else get the free xbox one email out there?
