I finally got into the ME3 MP and collected the Defender achievement. Once I got it I decided to keep going to get the Master and Commander achievement.
Along the way I was fortunate enough to see the entire spectrum of players. Most were capable, some were not and some were amazingly good. If I was placed with a good team, the journey from waves 1 - 11 was fairly quick. If I was placed on a team of new guys we might make 8 or 9 before being overrun.
It was definitely worth the experience.

Bronze is fairly irrelevant. One good player can do any wave. Silver is where it really get's annoying if you get stuck with noobs. They litteraly go down 5 times a wave.

Count me in the small group of people not disappointed with the ending. I thought it was just fine. Of course I play for the gameplay and don't care about the story so I know my opinion on a game like this is usually in the minority.

Mass Effect is a hard game to like if you only focus on gameplay. It's combat is the best it's ever been series wise and it still feels like a second rate shooter. It's the unique choice based story that make it special.

I thought Mass Effect 2 and 3 handled just fine and were better than most titles available. I would never consider it second rate.

It handles BETTER than Gears of War 3 in my opinion. In gears you feel way too bulky and slow.
