Just got back with copy in hand, about to make a 1940's mixer and slick my hair back for the night.
Pre-orders come with DLC and this neat little envelope filled with some kind of camera film for the Badge Pursuit challenge, I must admit that is a nice little touch.

Well.. I'm addicted. I've put in 4 hours already and I am only on Case 7 out 21. I also got 10 out of the 40 side missions done. The city is HUGE.
I'm forcing myself to take a break and watch some Sons of Anarchy.

Has anyone partook in the K-Mart LA Noire Deal? The one supposedly to get a free $20 game at the time of the purchase plus an additional $20 for a later purchase?
Its supposedly only for the Shop Your Way Rewards members (which I am) but I can find NOTHING from K-Mart about this deal, only people spreading the word about it. I'm considering taking advantage of the deal since its like getting the game for $20, but I don't feel like wasting my time driving halfway across town to a K-Mart just to have an employee tell me they don't know what I'm talking about

You really need to go find out and verify it. If that's true I am on my way to kmart after work.

Sorry for the double post. But k-marts deal is confirmed. Spoke with an associate on the phone and he verified everything.

Just picked this up. But sadly I don't get to play yet. I have to be at work in 8 hours and have yet to get some sleep. Hopefully I can play some in the morning when I get home.

So it's only a 12 hour campaign maybe 13-14 for the last 10 side missions... Hardly seems worth it for 60 bucks, especially when you remember that beating GTA4 in under 30 hours was hard.
