I have been playing this demo and am thoroughly enjoying it. It is tons better than I thought it was gonna be and I am anxious to play it on release day. This game has potential to suck some life out of me in a very positive way lol.

Played the demo and liked it so much that I was quite disappointed to have it come to an end. Want to get the full version at some point, but that depends on how things work out in the near future.

Am downloading the demo now, been following this game for a good while and am excited for its retail release. The 360 can always use more RPGs.

I played the demo and I loved it! The graphics are a bit more cartoony than I had imagined, but that makes very little difference to me. The controls are weird, especially after playing so many hours of Skyrim, but I know that when I get used to them, they will be efficient.
In all honesty, this demo would have to be offensive on all levels to make me not buy it at launch. I don't know if I anticipated this more than Elder Scrolls, but certainly as much! I can't wait!

Wow, you guys had a substantially different experience with this demo than I did.
While I did find the art style interesting and the use of "Fate" as a leveling system a novel idea, much of the gameplay seems heavily "borrowed" from other, better fantasy setting titles of recent years and the combat (which the developers laughably call the best combat ever) is clumsy and unresponsive at times. The biggest problem I had was that the demo kept glitching out on me; some environment objects would give that hall of mirrors effect that I first discovered in DOOM and halfway through the sound cut out causing dialogue text to wiz past faster than I could read it. The coup de grace was when the demo crashed on me, cementing my opinion of this title.

I agree that the combat seemed a bit clunky and unresponsive in some aspects, but once you have used a variety of primary and secondary weapons and fought a bunch of different enemies, it starts to make more sense.
I agree that the developers are being a little absurd in how much they glorify this when it essentially just feels like a re-vamped Fable with dashes of other console RPGs thrown in, but I am looking forward to it all the same because it seems genuinely fun and interesting.

Played the demo this morning and my impression was generally favorable as well, it was pretty fun and kept me playing through the entire demo although I thought a few of the dungeon type areas I wandered into were a little empty as far as the number of enemies to fight in each one. Wandered through 2 different dungeons and only fought like a total of 6 enemies in each which I dispatched rather easily in a few seconds, hopefully the game ramps up after a few hours in as I'm sure it will. May pick it up when it releases, but still unsure for now.

If you purchase the game day 1, you get free dlc that will otherwise be charged if you buy the game used. They also claim the dlc is not on the disc as it was planned to be released at a later time but they instead wanted to reward players who purchased day 1. I think I will be buying it

You're either talking about a pre-order bonus or another of those Project $10 pantloads... both of which I'm patently against. This deal's getting worse all the time...

No, it is neither. It is a perk for being supportive of the team developing this game. You can go buy used for all I care and help bring some of these honest companies to their doom by not supporting them but rather supporting companies like gamestop who are only in it for short changing the devs and making a bigger amount of change in their pocket.
I prefer to help keep these game developers going that like to give perks to their supportive customers.
