July game releases
Or you could always
*Unless otherwise mentioned, trailers for games that appear on both 360 and Xbox One will be showing the XB1 version.*
Tuesday, July 1st
Far Cry Compilation (360) - This isn't actually a complete Far Cry compilation; rather, it only contains the full 2nd and 3rd games as well as the Blood Dragon spin-off. If they absolutely couldn't include the Instincts games, they could have at least included the updated original game that recently released on XBLA; anyway, if you haven't played FC3 and Blood Dragon, they are both great shooters.
No real trailers for this, so here's one for 3:
Sniper Elite 3 (360, XB1) - I don't know much about this game, I'm assuming it is going to have you sitting around with a high-powered rifle, shooting tiny characters hundreds of yards away. Also it's supposed to have an incredibly detailed gore system for the slow-mo shot replays.
Wednesday, July 2nd
Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition (360, XB1) - It's a "metroidvania"-type game, which means it is an action-platformer with weapon/ability upgrades that let you explore more of the world. This specific version has gotten a few updates over the original PC release, including speed run and score attack modes, and I believe the difficulty was also tweaked.
Tuesday, July 15th
Saints Row 4: National Treasure Edition (360) - This is SR4 plus all the DLC they made, including the Season Pass content, which totaled like 29 pieces I believe. Also, it is going to release at a $30 price point, so good time to grab it if you never played it. It's open-world/sandbox craziness, with super powers on top!
Wednesday, July 16th
Abyss Odyssey (360) - This is an action-adventure game published by Atlus, the same folks behind Dark Souls and Armored Core titles. I haven't heard anything about it but the trailers look interesting.
