I'm a big Call of Duty fan, and always will be. Call of Duty 4 and Black Ops were great games, and I adored them. MW2, however sucked. There were all kinds of hackers and the storyline was a mess. I've expanded by gaming to Fable II and other games, and I want to know that if MW3 will be worth $60.

I think Call of Duty is one of few games that justifies spending 60 bucks on. The campaign for these games run around 6 to 8 hours, plus multiple playthroughs with the higher difficulties. Then theres the massive multiplayer component where one can easily put in tens if not hundreds of hours in it lifecycle. Hackers are irrevelvent to whether or not you should purchase a new game, take that equation out of MW2 and I believe it would be one of the best multiplayer titles ever, but hey hackers are assholes and there not much we can do about it.
Theres no doubt that MW3 will be a blast to play and I'm looking forward to picking it up.

It really depends on how many hours you get out of the game,i got 450 hours out of black ops and i probably would still be playing it now if i wasnt working on my gamerscore.so 450 hours for about 95 dollars (game plus DLC) is worth it in my opinion.

I look at most things I buy & figure out the amount of hours I have to work to afford the purchase. So if you make $15 an hour it's gong to take a little over 4 hours of work to buy a $60 game. If you think you will get more than 4 hour of enjoyment from the game then to me its worth it.
That being said, I'm personally done with CoD. I play like a madman til I get to the top prestige, then the games & leaderboards are ruined by hackers & I never play them again.
Battlefield 3 is getting my money this year.

I have not played a Call of Duty game since the next gen systems hit, and I'm damn proud of it, those games are nothing more than bragging rights for kids that don't smile much.
