I've played plenty of games that I've spent $60 on and felt that I got my total moneys worth from.
I understand that, and agree. I was being more literal. The disc and case itself does not cost $60 to manufacture.
In theory you are actually getting more for your money. You're right that it only takes anywhere from $5- $10 to make the disk and case. But if you add up the hundreds of thousands of hours it takes to actually code the games. Paying each person individually, and what theirs anywhere from 100 to 200 people working on a game, maybe more for bigger companies? The average salary for video game designer is anywhere from $33,000 a year (for Q&A, roughly $17 an hour) and for the actual coders, writers is about $90,000 a year (Roughly $45 an hour). So just one guy working for 2 hours is more then the itself.
On topic: I already have it pre-ordered. I don't get that many hours out of them I think I have about 1 days worth on BLOPS. I do enjoy my time and plus all my friends takes these games very seriously, so if I want to play or talk to them I'm gonna have to buy it. I might change it to Hardened or Prestige Edition depending on what is in it. They should be releasing that any day now.
