I'm So Friggin Done With (Insert Game)

Got a game you're so tired of playing that you don't give a damn if you're leaving achievements on the table? Don't feel like cranking out endless hours to get those last few multiplayer chievos or running through a lousy game on "On Crack" level? Well tell us all about it.

For me, right now I am so friggin' done with Lego Rock Band after I finish these last 15 songs I need to complete the endless setlist. Endless setlist my ass!

It's only 30 songs. 50 pointer though so I had to do it. I never bothered to try the endless setlists on the previous RB games. I'll have 870/1000 on it and the rest of the chievos are MP, one for the drums and one for getting 100% on the solo in Final Countdown. :no:

Ahh.... This thread needed to have been around a long time ago!!

I'm with you on LRB Irish, its a fun game but really 1000 stars, all the missions, 4 player 100% and its only local, yeah that's fair.

Lol, I'm almost done with Tiger Woods 08. Fun game, HUGE grind.

So true bro. I can't believe I didn't think about this back when I played Beowulf. I couldn't stand that game after one play-thru.

HUGE GRIND ... Oh dont get me started on Star Ocean: TLH hope, Two Battles Trophies out of the 900 i need for 100% complete , both take over 50 hours EACH to get ... x.x

I didn't get that awesomely low gamerscore by running around completing games, lol. It kinda is an easy 1000. You have to play through the game three times to get the full 1000. I'm just not into completions like you are noah. Its not that the game is hard, I just don't have the patience.

I agree with everything Irish said. It's so maddening that so many points are tied to just a few Achievements in LRB, and they require playing the same stuff over and over because there just aren't that many songs in the game and it only imports the super-family-friendly ones from your RB list, so you end up just churning for so long to clear out venues. I finally just gave up, I said Ok, I'm not enjoying this and I'm not getting any better because all of these are easy.

And I don't get what the hell they were thinking with the Achievement for doing a perfect solo in Final Countdown on Expert--yeah that is quite an Achievement but I think they are asking way too much. I can beat all of the hardest Guitar Hero tracks out there and I regularly play very difficult ones just to keep my fingers loose between real guitar practice, and I think after a few attempts the closest I got was 87%.

That Achievement would be great in something like GH Smash Hits or GH Metallica, but since LRB is aimed so hard at 2 year olds you can't say damn, whiskey or satan death goat apocalypse they should have kept the Achievements in that spirit. I don't know any little kids that would sit there and play the same 30 RB songs 5 times over, they'd rather get online and no-scope people in MW2.

Assassin's Creed (the first one!

), Borderlands, and any Lego game.

No flags for ol' Evol, not going to run around that world for that stupid shit.

I don't care if Borderlands comes out with so much DLC, the game hits 5000 achievement points! I'm fucking cel shaded out!

And finally, I may return to Lego games when the Harry Potter game comes out, but after all of those undefeated achievements and grinding 100% in Lego Star Wars II, I need a long break. Uggh... Just thinking about it turns my beard gray.

I would LOVE to be done with COD4, specifically Mile High Club, but I know I'll try again soon.

Let's just say I spent 5 hours on Saturday working on it, and I shot the hostage three times.... :mad:

I agree with Lego Rock Band. I gave up after 870/1000. Other than that, I debating on weather or not I am going to go for the full 1000 in Forza 3. The complete every race thing is looking quite intimidating. From what I am reading, completing all races takes 120 + hours. I may grind away at it over time. But I'm just not sure.
