I think the most important question to consider when buying an iPhone is will it blend?

I went to the Apple store to try out the iPhone and I was actually pleasantly surprised. I had very high expectations when going to see it, and somehow it managed to exceed those expectations. Typing on the on screen keyboard was a lot easier than I thought it would be. The multi-touch is really amazing. I can't wait to use one of those Microsoft surface tables that use multi-touch too.
The only optimization I found besides the wi-fi of the apple store were a few dud contacts. There were plenty of photos but they were all photos from previous users. The 2 mega pixel camera is about what I thought it would be. It's a hell of a lot better photos than I've ever seen on any other phone, especially mine, but still it's not a great replacement for my 5 mega pixel point and shoot digital camera, and definitely not the equipment of choice for photography buffs used to SLR digital cameras.
The iPhone is smaller and slimmer than I thought it was. It looks like it's the perfect size. I wouldn't want a internet browsing device to be any smaller. I originally thought it would be slightly uncomfortable to have in my pocket. I didn't try and feel what it's like because I would probably look a little suspicious slipping it in my pocket.
Logging in to Xbox America was a breeze and I was able to check out the latest posts. I was surprised the javascript tool tips worked as well as they did.
Overall, I'm much more in love with the iPhone then before. Unfortunately, my chances of getting one are still as slim as ever.

LOL They surveyed a whopping 200 people, all of which were probably hard-core fans of apple....
Also, the article mentions what they didn't like:
"Owners said there's room for improvement. At the top of their wish list: longer battery life, faster Internet speed and more internal memory."
Exactly what I have been harping on as to not buy the first version of the phone.

Lol, I knew you were going to say that. 200 random people is accurate enough to roughly represent all the iPhone owners. It's in no way precise, but it does represent iPhone owners. It also provides insight into whether the iPhone really is worth it, since these are people that have actually made the investment, and have actually used the device. That's more than anyone in this thread, besides UK can say they've done.
That list of improvements is full of things that would be nice, but isn't possible now. I've come to the conclusion that is the absolute best device possible right now. There will always be something better on the horizon. That's the way technology develops. If you have the money, and this device does what you want your mobile device to do, than I think now is the time to buy.

Yea I heard about that. It's a little scary at the thought of websites having access to all your information on your phone. It shouldn't be long before a patch is released.

Yup. The biggest problem Apple now faces is that they have something out there that hackers will be tempted to go after.
