Back before there were consoles we had quarter munching games such as Space Invaders and Asteroids. I am sure that I paid for at least one if not two of those things one quarter at a time.

The first ever game I ever played was what I believed at the time to be a peice of garbage. The Magnavox Oddesey(or something like that). There was no graphics but a straight line and you have a sheet with graphics on it that you place onto your tv screen.
Otherwise my first real game I ever had on the 360 was Modern Warfare[/B][/I]

I am very amazed that they are re-modeling Metal Gear for 360. I will be picking up that HD Collection on Nov 8th. I am trying to focus more towards multiplayer/competitive matches on MW3 but I will still buy both and play MGS eventually and waste countless hours on it

nowadays i love playing Gears of war.black ops is also a favorite, and i still to this day have Sonic The Hedgehog 2 In My Arcade game collection on my 360.

I started back in 98 ( I was like 6 lol ), I remember playing tons of games on the N64. The N64 was my true first console. I remember playing the shit out of GoldenEye, Mario Kart, and many other games with my older brother and his friends.
I also started playing hardcore PC games at a young age too. I played Counter Strike, Team Fortress, Shit.. I was even rocking out some Starcraft as a little boy. Then we got the Dreamcast which is my favorite system. It had my favorite game of all time, Shenmue. Shenmue was the first time I ever followed a story of a game and became attached to a character. Then there was MvC and Powerstone, I have many memories of my brother and his friends, playing that shit all day and night. And of course NFL 2k and NFL 2k2 where I became an Atlanta Falcons fan.

I started out kind of like some of the other members of XBA. I had a ColecoVision as a young kid, and then luckily my parents bought us a Nintendo (when it came out). At the same time I was breaking the bank at the arcades with Tron, Double Dragon, Dragon's Lair, and The Simpson's. I eventually broke off of these long enough to buy my own Super Nintendo. My friend had a Sega Genesis at the time so I also got to play with that.
When I joined the military I spent my down-time on a PS1, and a N64. Then my down-time got upgraded to a PS2, and the once-in-a-while Game Cube. After that I decided to buy a Xbox because of the games that were lined up for it. From there it was a no-brainer to the Xbox 360.....and then 007 started my achievement hunting........

Well, I guess I'll be revealing my age by telling, but I remember playing E.T. on the old Atari and watching my mom trying to figure out Swordquest (did anyone ever win that?). Then came Mario and all the 8-bit fun. I eventually got into the SNES, but I was pretty hardcore into all the old school stuff (hit up flea markets and emulators). I was into the wi, but the achievements on the 360 won me over! I loved that there was a way to kinda show your skills and interact with others.

Combination of Playstation 1 for christmas when i was 5 and computer gaming which was where i really became hooked on gaming, I play the xbox now specifically because achievement systems are addicting to me. I confine myself to only xbox and MMORPGs now because my computer is outdated and i cant afford to go for achievements in Steam and Blizzard too.
