I'm glad it passed its time for a fresh start. I know its scary starting or doing something new but sometimes it needed the old way wasn't working I know my health care sucks. So why not try the reform?

I haven't had health insurance for ten years. Maybe now I'll be able to afford it or won't get denied coverage. I was diagnosed bi-polar almost 11 years ago but haven't had any problems with it since then but it's a red flag for insurers. I only have to see my doctor twice a year and get blood work done twice a year. I only take one medication. The only way I can get a policy is if I go through open enrollment and pay out the ass.

I dont know how I would feel. I'm not a parent. But I do know that I am 23 years old and have not had health insurance since my freshman year of college. since being dropped i have had Pneumonia twice. strep twice, a sinus infection, endoscopic surgery 12 stitches in my face and numerous illnesses. and i had to brave through the strep and the sinus infection and all the other times i was sick because i cant afford it. the stitches, two bouts with pneumonia and the endoscopic surgery have racked up $10,000 in debt. and i would STILL rather keep our current healthcare system. I can live with reform, and regulation, but i would never want to live with the healthcare system that they have overseas.
besides swine flu is a government conspiracy... read up on it.

Quote by Melissa Evol:
Every American should be insured. Every American should have health care made available to them, and if they can't afford to pay it, the government should help. No one should have to choose between getting stitches and paying their electric bill. That's all I'm saying.
i agree! NO AMERICAN should ever have to do without. but under this so called reform americans who dont have insurance who make over $7,500 a year will be punished with a $700+ fine and up to a year in jail in some states.
