Turtle Beach X41 fan here. The Astro top of the line was too expensive and the Trittons only offered Dolby 5.1 rather than the TB 7.1

I've got a pair of both, but I use my trittons a lot more because they are so much quicker and easier to get set up on my ps3/360/or pc versus my turtle beach. when i use my turtle beach ones though...i am in heaven...the sound is much better on them

I've had my X1's since they came out and I still use them everyday. I've gone through about 10 different sets of trittons and astros during the same time I had the X1's. Nothing will outlast a turtle beach headset. BUT, for the best sound for MP shooters and/or movies, you'll want trittons.

Looking into buying one of these headsets. Thinking the X11, just because it's pretty basic and i don't want anything too extreme/expensive
