I'm looking for some new music and I was wondering if anyone had any good hard rock bands that aren't well known yet, or any other great bands I might be interested in and I'll probably check them out.

as a side note, i looked up their first album on amazon.com today.

One of my current favorites is The Black Keys. If you haven't heard them, they have real raw and bluesy sound. They have six albums out with another one in the works I hear. If I had to pick a favorite it would be their second album, here's the title track: Thickfreakness. Danger Mouse has producer credits on their most recent album - Attack & Release. Anyone who played GTA4 as much as I did will recognize this track of it: Strange Times. It was on the Radio Broker station.
