I think he means its dumb because spartans are never listed as dead or KIA. They are listed as MIA. Its to boost the moral of the lesser soldiers.
NOTE: They will be listed on a site as dead, but in the halo universe, on the actually UNSC roster, they are listed as MIA. Halowiki will do otherwise.

Agh! Whenever I load up this thread, the spoilers always open, so I already know 1 thing that I wanted to find out on my own.

2010 Tournament Winner

Finally was able to beat Reach on solo Legendary. For those attempting it, it isn't really that bad. Just stay back, and make sure you always have a DMR/Needle Rifle and a Plasma Pistol or the Elites will wreck you.
