I didn't play Judgement.
Gears 2 - This game was everything I possibly wanted in a Gears sequel. Awesome as fuck story, lots of new additions to MP including several new modes, and horde mode. Not to mention the level ranking system they added in a little bit after it came out.
Gears 1 - Gears 1 is a classic. I believe it has the best story out of all 3 I played and felt like it had more of a horror vibe than any of the other games in the series. One of the few games I actually enjoy playing through multiple times. I might actually pick it up again soon tbh. The MP was hella fun back in the day as well. (including Seriously... boosting too)
Gears 3 - Nothing against Gears 3, I thought it was great, but I didn't find myself enjoying it as much as the first or second one. I loved the MP when it was in beta, but didn't really play it that much when the game actually came out. The story was pretty rad as usual, but didn't really give me much motivation to play it again. Beast Mode was pretty neato too, but I only played that a few times, meh. Still an awesome game though.
I'm not going into detail with my ratings for Halo, so yeah. I've never fully beaten Halo CE either so let that be known.

Judgement came out way after the fact when I grew bored with 360 gaming, on top of the fact that I felt a game revolving around Baird and Cole was a terrible idea.
I think a Baird/Cole adventure was a good idea. Just poorly executed and I hated how it ended.

Ha ha I wanted Baird to die too. I actually like him a little better after the Judgment story though.
I also think they should have done a Pendulum Wars game, as it would have made more sense having the humans fighting each other in mp and they wouldn't have to use shifty techniques to introduce new units and gear in the single player campaign without screwing up the Gears continuity.

I agree with this, but I am glad Gears 2 ushered in this age of cooperative multiplayer modes for console games.
I will never forget the first time I beat horde mode. I was newly working at Pi Studios doing game testing and had exchanged gamertags with the other guys in our group who were also new.
After a long Friday we all agreed to get into Gears 2 and kick horde mode's ass. We started around 8pm I think and after a couple false starts we chose the River map and shacked up in one of the houses and did that shit 1 to 50. It was a kickass bonding experience!

Never played Halo 2 so I don't know where it would rank with me if I did, hoping they eventually make Halo 2 anniversary. Also I don't have hate for Gears 2, Gears is a hard thing for me to rank, I loved Gears 3 I think they finally figured a lot of the annoying things about the other 2 and fixed it, Gears 1 holds a lot of sentimental value for me. It was one of the first games I picked up for 360, and was the first game I ever played multiplayer on so I have to rank that high, but I loved the shit out of Gears 2, only due to those two factors does it rank in at 3, and Judgment well I hate Judgment lol.
