I prefer the take everything out method. Anytime you have an option to take a vehicle, do so. Ghosts are damn useful, just lay on that boost and splatter. Another combination of weapons to use is the a BR or something similar along with the plasma pistol. Noob combo your way to victory.
If you find yourself having difficulties and keep on dying, remember to take your time. Spend time looking at the environment and terrain. Always try to take the high ground and always be on the look out for weapons, you'll find some in the oddest places.

I didn't want it to be fun, I played through 2 player co-op with a friend on Legendary and we took our time getting terminals and exploring everything.
I wanted solo Legendary to be as quick as possible, I hate playing through a game more than once.

well junior mini repo and circus beat both episodes in the time it took me to beat 4 episodes of one on solo, it was not fun

Can episode 1 of spartan ops still be played in match making? I wanted to finish them up in multiplayer before starting episode 2, but couldn't find an option to change it. So I ended up just doing all of episode 2 online.

Nope, every time a new episode comes out it looks like those are the only chapters available in matchmaking.

Ok, I didn't think I just wasn't seeing it. I wonder why they removed it. It seems kinda stupid. I wonder if thats going to happen every week. If so, someone who gets the game in a couple of weeks, or lets say Christmas even, is going to have to play through a lot of episodes by themselves unless they have friends on that play.

You can still play them solo/with a party. Just go to episodes and change it to episode 1.

Just finished playing the campaign on legendary with circus. No way in hell am I doing it again. After the 4th mission, the game got extremely repetitive and was very drug on. The ending *spoiler alert* sucked.
I am happy with where I stand achievement wise on it but will avoid wasting much more time on it. Definitely not worth 60 bucks in my opinion. Thank god I gamefly'd it.

Did you try multiplayer at all? I like the multiplayer a lot, the campaign was just ehhh, but I dont really buy halo for the campaign anyways

Absolutely love it. Story is a little short, but it's quite a challenge on Legendary. Multiplayer has been quite enjoyable so far.
