I have read all 4 of the books out, fantastic series. I just wish George would finish the last one. It's been like 10 years.

The show was pretty awesome. They stayed very true to the book. I just wish the HBO wasn't a free weekend, as I will miss it each week now.

I'm gonna go with Penis and Vaginas, for "The Hills Have Thighs! Since it is skinamax!
So this here ol "Game of Throne" ain't half bad A? Might try and give it a peek?
I'm not 100% sure that there are penises in it... Haven't seen it, personally, but I assume there are boobs...
Got enough penis-sighting with Spartacus. There's never enough boobs, though. Of course, if those are related to the story.

My best friend saw it and complained she was shocked by the nudity... I don't think evol is old enough to handle it...
She was shocked by nudity in an HBO show? I take it she's not a fan of True Blood. It's not like they added the nudity for shits and giggles. It's very prevalent in the books. I'd say they actually toned it down a bit compared to the book. In the book Daenerys' brother was always pinching her nipples and they definitely toned down the scene where she and Drogo consummated their marriage.

Man, I can understand that people are shocked by nudity in places it doesn't really belong, but at the core of the issue, it really pisses me off that religious/psychosocial brainwashing involves making the human body a naughty thing.
...and MAN do I want to do naughty things to Daenerys' human body XD

I haven't seen this one yet, but will, cause my mother in law has HBO.
In other news, did you see that the 5th book, Dancing with Dragons has finally gotten a release date? July 12th. I'm excited.

Finally had a chance to watch this last night. It is interesting and I would hope to see some more combat in there. I'll have to download the next episode and check it out.

Hang in there. The first handful of episodes are gonna be thick with dialogue and story building. There's plenty of combat to come. The Tourney of the Hand should be coming in the next episode or two. That should be good. Tonight's was good. They're doing a helluva job so far of sticking with the book.

May I ask where you're getting it from? I only got to see the first episode, as HBO was free that weekend. The books were awesome, I really want to see the show.
