Re: Game Makers Strike Back at Used Game Market

If they ban selling used games what is to stop people from selling used cars its the same thing on a different scale! Actually used cars can be more dangerous.
Don't blame this on gamestop or whoever, blame this on the Game industry, maybe they should stop overcharging for brand new crap! Gamestop only brings the price down of overcharged crap. Still overcharge yeah sometime but more reasonabley priced, if you feel your getting ripped off by Gamestop or whoever, ebay your stuff I'm sure you will try to overcharge for your used product.
If not you'd already have donated for free to the trading thread here!
Maybe the companies should offer to buy back their games and resell them themselves?
Or
Just do what they are doing release 1st day DLC. When people buy the used product IF they FEEL they want the whole experience of the game they will buy the DLC.
I'll bring up a good point here who here would pay $60 now for just one of these titles:
CoD2, Kameo, etc. any of the first relesed games on the any system for that fact.
Here is another problem what about game that use servers like Chromehounds, Halo 2, NBA whatever. That gets their servers shut down and you receive nothing in return for losing a main part of the experience of the game. You hear us complain but you never hear the Game companies say "Hey we will take back our product to discount one of our new products." they'd rather tell you to go F yourself.
Besides if this happens we will see even greater ways of priracy than we ever seen before!
