I got Fable II the other day, and it's awesome. Great story, awesome customization, very interactive. But I'm wondering: should I get Fable III? I love Fable II but Fable III isn't exactly getting great reviews.

Yeah I have to agree with both of these, the Fable II and III games were fanboy games. Even if you are a fanboy you would still be disappointed in III. I am a fanboy and I wasn't that impressed by III but I still had fun playing it. I even went around looking for the collectibles (all except for the damn books)
When you get done with II, get III. If for no other reason, just to continue with the story. Pretty easy points as well.
But if you ever get the chance, and haven't played it already. Go get the first Fable. That one was the best, and it's cheap also.

I actually downloaded the original off the Live Marketplace to play before Fable II came out it's still my favorite. I enjoyed Fable II a lot even though the ending was a big disappointment for me and I hated the gay-ass collectibles. I know I've asked before but what the fuck does collecting teddy bears and dyes have to do with being a hero?! If you liked II then you'll probably like III. Like II, it didn't live up to the hype but it's still worth playing for any Fable fan.

I had the opposite reaction then most people. I never played one, completely hated II and yet I loved III. I loved everything except for the glitched achievements. I only have one left and its glitched. They even said that they know about the achievement glitch had no interest in fixing it, basically spitting in our faces.

I loved the first one, loved it. The second was damn decent. But the third....I didn't really enjoy as much as the first two. To me, it just seemed as though the game just dragged out and the ending seemed rather mediocre.
