I would deifinitely be pissed if I lost my level 81 character and all of my crafted armor and items. My guys a ninja and I'd prefer not to have to start over. I have way to many hours logged on him.
O yea.. Lol. I was like level 76 or something close. However, with all this talk here recently, I might just go ahead and start over lol. I wish there was coop tho :/

i started playing it again, and man the dlc is just downright boring. The game cant hold my attention for longer than an hour at a time.
I still cant figure out how I managed to dump 105+ hours into the game. Maybe all that boring wandering around jacks up your time more than you realize.

You could always play long enough to do the oghma infinium glitch so you don't have to spend a lot more time getting your character back to the level you were. That is assuming that the glitch still works. I don't think they would have taken it out since they said that it was known that it was there.

In the update patch which added the ability to change skills that had reached level 100 to Legendary and removed the level cap also removed that particular glitch. So that means grinding skills and levels the normal way.

Ah, well never mind then. I just started playing this game again after a long hiatus. Good thing I don't need the glitch.
Edit: Ok, I had to look it up since I hadn't heard about the legendary skills thing. So it seems that this effectively removed the level cap. Since you can keep making a skill legendary as many times as you want, does that mean you can end up with every perk in every tree if you really wanted to?

Not sure if it's possible, since once the choice has been made to make a skill legendary, all points used for perks in that skill are returned. I haven't played the game since before this update patch was released, so I don't know exactly what the new stuff does; and since I've gotten all the achievements and finished a vast majority of the quests, there's not much incentive for me to play again.

After some more searching, I found this on the Skyrim Wiki:
Unattributed Quote:
As there is no longer a level cap, in order to gain all 251 perks available, one or more skills must be made Legendary a total of 147 times.
So it seems that you can. I might try it with one of my lesser used skills.
