up to you whether to ask or not. if you do and she says yes, you're good to go. if she says no however, get ready to have some awkward moments with her for a while because of it... it's just like the first reply says, is it worth possibly losing the friendship over? because depending on the person, she may just avoid you from then on in fear of feeling awkward or just flat out don't want to be that close to you.
also, since you're a friend of her's, see what other guys she talks to and how she feels about any of them (if any at all) so you can see where you stand in her mind. it'll help to see if you have a chance or not. just don't think too hard about whether you should or you shouldn't because things will just get more complicated the more thought you put into it xD

I saw take STD's advice.
I wouldn't start gaming with her right away, you don't want to get stuck in the friend zone when you're trying to see if there's a possibility for more.

Many of the folks here have told you to do similar things. ie. Asking her to hang out, asking her out to dinner or a movie, etc. Someone asked your age. While this may not sound very important, it is. Do you drive? Do you have access to a vehicle? It will be much easier for you if you do. In order to maintain a friendship while still determining if you have a legitimate chance of romance, take her to lunch. Dinner is a little too formal. A lunch date is more casual and is not that big of a risk. It also allows for a continuation of the date if things went well at lunch. Ultimately, its up to you what you do. Well, like every one said, spend some more time with her alone, get to see how she really feels.
I've kind of stopped being friends with a couple of guys this way, because I had to say no, and find non offensive reasons to tell them. And it's not the fact that they asked me out, its how they act around you that makes things awkward, like they act like they like you but feel guilty about it and try to hide it.
Just act yourself no matter what, and if it fails, try to make it look like no big deal and don't make her feel awkward/responsible ;p

well I had a chance to talk to her *sighs*....and guess what?
I asked her out for lunch....and THEN guess what...
She said yes!! haha She didn't even hesitate...where should I take her I don't want to come on too fast by taking her to a resturaunt...

It's actually embarrasing that I have to Loan out money from my mom haha good thing the Movies are about a block away we can just go there then Ill take her to her favorite fast food joint (I think it's either whataburger or mcdonalds)
