I like the wacky sense of humor and the kinky S&M vibes too. I am curious to see how this reboot develops in the wake of games like Shadows of the Damned & Bayonetta.

I was also in "omfg ACHIEVEMENTS" mode when DMC4 was fresh so I didn't play enough. I enjoyed watching a friend play through the original.

Neither of you get S&M vibes from Trish and a lot of the enemies and just the style of the game altogether?
And the humor, I mean c'mon, a revving sword??

i mean if that's what your into I won't judge you man. beat the first 2 levels so far and I like the direction they took with the game so far, there's actually a decent story compared to the other ones so far.

I'm not saying that, just surprised it's a selling point for you.
Maybe I'm not actually surprised.

holding the triggers to change weapons (instead of equipping and unequipping) really makes the combat a lot more fluid then in the previous entries in the series.

I'm enjoying this game so far as well, I always like when the metal music kicks in during the combat, my only complaint so far is that there's too many combos and stuff to keep track of and I haven't played DmC in so long that I have to get back into the flow of it

yeah i'm on chapter 18 and almost done with it and definitely my favorite version of dante and devil may cry. some of these achievements seem like a pain in the ass though.
