Nope! I'm not a Badger fan in any capacity, but the only 3 out of bounds teams are the Steelers, Ravens and Wolverines!
Now, for the finished Angry Birds PS3:

So Minioger recently contacted me about his Japan console. It had gotten the RROD. I had never seen a J-console, so I was pretty excited to have a chance at fixing this one.
So it arrived yesterday and I got to it as soon as I got home from work. There are some subtle differences between our N.A. consoles and this J. console. It was kind of neat to see! Also, I have got to say that this is the cleanest 360 I have ever taken apart! That is saying a lot because according to the manufacture date, it is one of the true launch consoles dated 2005.
So aside from a small X-clamp issue, I got this one repaired without incident! This one had me worried, I'll admit. Any other consoles I repair, if I run into any problems, I have piles of spare components and backup equipment. With this being a region locked console, I had no such safety net! Fortunately, as you can see, there was no reason for apprehension!
Mission Accomplished!!

I decided to change my personal 360's ring of light to blue! I like it!

I like the blue. Is there an easy fix to swapping out the lasers? One of Xbox's won't read the games anymore. I'm 90 percent sure it's the laser.

Actually the vast majority of disc read errors, open tray messages, and unrecognized discs are not actually bad lasers. A lot of them are worn out drive belts. Some, like the XBA Tourney console, have bad worm gear motors, and some have bad DVD power cables.
As far as swapping out the laser, as long as you can solder decently, the laser isn't hard to swap out as long as you are at least marginally mechanically inclined and have the right tools. I think new lasers can be found for around $10-15. Don't quote me on that, though.
If you need any help or have any questions about it, feel free to PM me any time, and I'll do my best to help out!

You ever modify a slim model 360? Wondering how much different or difficult they are compared to the fat models. Hate the shiny finish of my slim and I wouldn't mind different ring LEDs.
BTW, how much for the angry bird treatment on a fat 360?

Slims are a little more of a pain in the ass to open, but past that, they really are mostly the same. The LEDs are a bit trickier than the phats just because if you accidentally ruin the ribbon cable on the faceplate, bye-bye power button since it is touch sensitive. As long as you know what you're doing and you are patient, it's not too bad!
You don't like the shine? I don't blame you. Actually, I really fell in love with the color I used on the XBA console. It's really close to the color of the Elite black, but just a bit lighter and more, "charcoally."
As for the Angry Birds, I'm going to have to find a paint that works better than what I used. As it dried, It started to crack a little and I would be ashamed to send that kind of job out to anyone. I'll redo it eventually and then maybe add that to my list of available mods. (also, I hate hand painting! lol)
