That third chick is Bianca Beauchamp. Currently I have 97,949 Pictures of her on my PC. It's just a small obsession I swear.
Just looked her up. I can see why now.
Damn shame that she has store bought boobs. The rest of her is pretty damn nice and I wouldn't hesitate to pee in her butt.

They may be store bought, but you should have seen her without them. She had a chest like a little school boy. At one time she was anorexic and the fans let her have it for starving herself, so she packed on some more weight. Hell I'd let her pee in MY butt.

She wasn't anorexic one time- she's an anorexic. It's like alcoholism.
Seriously, as much fun as it is to stare at boobs, most of these chicks have pretty severe self esteem issues and mental disorders (go down the checklist- eating disorders, plastic surgery, making careers out of wearing costumes and acting as characters, specifically exposing themselves to a demographic known for blind idolatry in an attempt to feel loved and accepted), and y'all objectify them and act like that's how women should look or be. It's crazy.
The fact that these chicks can make a living this way is why the anime/gaming community will never be taken seriously. It's also why women who don't whip their tits and asses out in public have to work twice as hard to justify their own places in the industry. If Anita Sarkeesian wanted to get rid of the death threats, she obviously should have dressed up as poison ivy during her videos.
*edit* the above rant isn't directed at anyone in particular, just observations based on the content of this thread and other cosplay sites.

I agree with just about everything in that post, with the exception of what I put in bold. Women do need to bust their tits and asses out in public for the simple reason of my entertainment. Seeing some T and A in public would make my day that much better.
Honestly though, all natural is a good thing. It tells me that a woman is comfortable with who she is and isn't concerned with what others might think.

or we take post pictures of women who have purposely dressed up and looked a certain way and comment on them for what they are, pretty and/or interesting cosplay photos.
I don't think anyone has said this is how women "should be"? No one is expecting Jane Q Anyone to do her day to day life dressed like a video game character with most of her junk hanging out.
And of course we are objectifying, they have dressed up and presented themselves as an object, in these cases video game and anime characters, and taken/posted pictures of it.
We do comment when they look correct for the cosplay, like for me I commented that the Witchblade chick has the long thick hair and is voluptuous and all, it goes well for that particular character, just like the Skarlet one was thin, pale, and had a small chest, and earlier the Mad Moxxi one had the thin waist and small hips but large bust which is like the character.
I do agree though that it is a bit absurd that people can make money just by putting on a costume and posting smutty pictures online, but if they are successful then good for them.
I think the ones that put a lot of work in to designing and making their own costumes and props, and then traveling around to attend different conventions and doing the "paperwork" part of participating in online communities and all, they earn whatever money and success they get from it and I think that is actually a pretty cool way to get by, hell of a lot better and more interesting than working a shit 9-5 job.
+edit+ and Shadowmachine is correct, women really should make an effort to have more of their body exposed during more of the day. I really like seeing naked girls and anything a chick can do to make my life better, especially if it means sacrificing any dignity and/or disregarding her self-esteem, is highly encouraged. Women were put here to serve and please, when they aren't doing that they are frigid harlots that are selfish and gold-digging.
But to be fair, I'm not about that "make me a sandwich" bullcrap. Any real man should be able to go the kitchen and make HER a sandwhich, and then hell her eat it while she is tied up, naked and handcuffed to the bedpost. A real man will bring her some water or tea too, too keep her hydrated.

^Those aren't cosplay, they're women scantily dressed in plastic. That's utterly ridiculous to consider that cosplay.

As I said, I wasn't referring to anyone in particular- just men regarding this crap in general.
If you don't think that men think this is how women should be, you aren't reading comments on teh interwebs and these chicks pages. I don't blame you, but yeah- "you're my dream girl," and "you're the perfect woman," are common.
This frustrates me due to the fact that there are too many levels that that is wrong on to even write them out. Seriously. No one would read it. No one is probably reading this. I could just stop writing mid sentence and

Oh yeah, this didn't even occur to me as what you meant but you are of course correct. Expecting this, or even actually wanting this, is indeed wrong on so many levels that it's exhausting to even contemplate, let alone try to write out.
And you are also right about misusing the term cosplay--I and others say it when we should just say model or pin-up or internet whore, whatever. Actual cosplaying is all about making your own stuff and actually playing as the character and such, I believe. And different from most of this.
It's just so much easier to use wrong terms and look at skin then to be correct or even decent. Treating people like humans and acting civilized is hard.
+edit+ and oh boy there are things I would let/pay for Jessica Nigri to do to me that would require revisions to the Geneva Convention and various human rights organizations.

I agree with Kat for the most part. Yes it's objectification and the objectification of women is more prevalent but it does go both ways. There's an all around ridiculous standard of beauty in our society. How else can you explain that douchebag's mugshot going viral earlier this summer? Secondly, the thread is titled cosplay models. Someone should start a Cosplay Done Right thread.

It would turn into the same thing, I think. People who authentically cosplay are scrawny guys and chubby women and they end up being posted as jokes rather than actual posts.
I agree there are women who objectify men, but I don't think the standard is as firmly against men as it is women. Men are raised to believe they bring other things to the table besides t & a. Every aspect of communication, from tv to magazines to books reinforces this. Every fat funny guy has a shrew of a wife who is... well, hot at least. Mike and Molly is the first modern show since Roseanne where a fat guy has a fat wife and it had a huge backlash when it first started. Melissa McCarthy in general has a huge controversy around her all the time because of her weight. Only a woman could be called a "hippo" in a movie review and have the writer keep his job.
Objectification of women is not just more prevalent, it's 100% accepted by society. It's so commonplace it's never even noticed, but when women turn the tables on men it becomes a huge deal. The douchebag mugshot was only news because people were aghast that women would look at a man and judge him based only on appearance. The hundreds of female mugshots that are in the news that men talk about wanting to "wreck" in the comments are ignored and not elevated to importance. Magic Mike was a stupid movie, but since it reduced women to acting like men it was a box office success. It's one movie in a sea of movies just like it centered around the opposite gender, but the hype around it made it sound like it was some groundbreaking movie. :/
Women do it to themselves as much as men do. They make just as many derogatory comments about other females as anyone else, because programming starts young- the cutest in the room gets noticed. How many girls do you know who say "I get along better with guys" or "I don't have any girl friends?" It's like- all of them. More programming.
I could go on and on. So I won't.
Go back to your meat market, fellas.
