IMO penn state situation is ridiculous, they hurt the players more than anything by removing scholarships, so dumb.

You think Penn State being sanctioned is ridiculous, but Ohio State isn't? A college getting in trouble for turning a blind eye to someone raping little boys on their grounds-- giving him the keys and allowing it to happen for years-- flat out ignoring it and covering it up when the guy was being investigated by the police which allowed him to continue for years... That's ridiculous. But a team getting a bowl ban because some of the players that don't even play there anymore traded autographs and shit for tattoos, and a coach who is gone now covered it up is nothing new...
If you're going to say "Penn State is ridiculous" because the people getting hurt by the sanctions weren't even involved in the shit that happened, then Ohio State should be ridiculous as well. If you're going to say "Ohio State players broke the rules, doesn't matter if the players and staff are different, someone needs to be punished," then Penn State should make sense as well. If you go by degrees of infraction, and think OSU's was worse, I don't even know what to say to that.
