Now I'm definitely beating a dead horse but I finally found this article I read a long time ago, it was relevant to the conversation about OSU fans.

I love this
Actually, let me rephrase that ... they're not just Buckeye fans. They're people who, if they were standing in front of Carson Palmer and Kirk Herbstreit, and both quarterbacks were engulfed in flames, and they had two fire extinguishers at their feet, they'd use the first extinguisher to put out the fire on Herbstreit, and they'd use the second extinguisher to beat to death anyone who suggested that Tom Brady was better-looking than Herbstreit.
....because its pretty much true.

I think that if Tressel hadn't started playing Tresselball in the second half, stopped throwing the ball to the tightend and Chimdi Chekwa along with two others going down to injury, it could've been worse.

Miami and Oregon in 2001, USC and LSU in 2003, USC and Utah and Auburn in 2004, Hawaii and Kansas in 2007, Boise State and Alabama in 2009, TCU and either Auburn or Oregon in 2010... How many more split "championships" will it take for the Russian Communists who are in charge of college football's anarchic bowl system (AND the Bogus College System!) to institute what college football's upper echelon is in way-past-dire need of which is a PLAYOFF SYSTEM!!

Halfway into the first quarter and no score in the BCSNC game! Does anyone have any picks before it gets too deep?
I have Oregon winning by more than 2 touchdowns!
Suck it SEC!!!

I want Oregon to win SO bad. I hate the whole bowl system and root anything that might upset the "natural" order of things.

I didn't think this would be such a low scoring game

Bout fuckin time Oregon did something! They've looked like shit tonight. From the play calling and execution right down to those glow in the dark leg warmers they're wearing. Those uniforms are just awful. How many times have they tried to run a draw out of the spread? Terrible play calling. Especially that 3rd quarter drive where they got stuffed on 3 straight runs to the right inside the 5.

Auburn 22 Oregon 19
IMO the end was definitely that missed tackle with about a minute left, where the Auburn player's knee never touched, and no one else on Oregon tried to down him.

Auburn's D played a helluva game.
Oregon not so much.

It was a damn good game though.
I had Auburn picked, but was kinda hoping Oregon would pull it off. I have a few friends at work who may not show up tomorrow now....

This was a terrible game. Neither team was awfully impressive. At least there was a little suspense at the end. 4/10
Looks like Oregon is becoming the new Ohio State of the BCS!
