I began 2009 with 20,000 gamerscore points, and to myself that seemed like a lot of work. As I played a lot of difficult games that were not easy to get to that number. This year I started off differently and went towards the waffle way.
I started to knock out games that were not so tough and started racking in the points. I won a couple of the FGC competitions, and began to think, "Wow, this is easy." little did I know the final stretch would be a difficult task, as gamers block started to settle in and I began to get bored.
I didn't want another easy game and just played whatever I could just to get my game on. I didnt shoot for the 1000 like I should have and just enjoyed the games.
Tonight, I rented Clive Barker's Jericho. I thought, "Well, one more waffle couldn't hurt." So I began my quest on this game not even 35min ago. I began to scale through this game and even though the graphics are not great, the story is actually okay. I just now passed Chapter 1 and snapped, "I need to see what I earned so far." I looked and behold I see, 50,004. I passed my mark with the achievement, "Arnold Leach Dossier" for 20 Points.
So now, I am thinking, 30k in 4 months was easy, how hard could it be to add 25k to this years gain and shoot for 75k?
Anyways, just thought I would post and share my story and success!
thanks for reading!
