I honestly don't know. It's not working for my roommate but it let me put in the code the first time I tried it. Maybe a server overload or something? Idk.

Alternates between saying it can't be redeemed and it's already been redeemed.

See, and this is why I encourage people to buy this game used and not give gearbox any more money than they have to. Well- one more reason why. And that prick Pitchford is saying shit on twitter to people who are pissed about the way he's doing the codes like "We're doing a test, feel free not to participate." Well guess what, asshole- we don't HAVE to pay money for your game that's basically a large expansion pack to the first and doesn't warrant the full price anyway...

I got it, tried redeeming it again and it said I already have redeemed.
If you already put in code just back all way out and go back into shift code should be there.

Upset about an added bonus that was never promised in your purchase of the game?

One MORE reason. My hatred of Gearbox is hardly a secret, and everything they do makes it worse. If the content is on the disk, you purchased it when you bought the disk and it should be attainable. Therefore keys to the chest on the disk should be earnable, rather than having to sit on the Internet all weekend then entering a code that doesn't work over and over again. All to test some ass system out that doesn't have a purpose without those codes, but is most likely a way to get their hands on more personal information. But that's not all... Not even close:
Upset about developers that treat customers like bags of money rather than people and act like assholes when their shit doesn't work, and thousands of people call them on it. Upset that the president of the developer company talks down to people that are supporting him with their irrational love for a game that really isn't anything special. Upset about a company that squeezed as much money from worthless pos dlc as from their game last time around, and are poised to do the same this year. upset at a lack of graphical improvements and constant texture pop in that makes this look like a beta. Upset at $60 for a 6 day completion, and a game so geared towards multiplayer that once again they don't make the other characters AI, and it's completely unenjoyable to play single player. Upset about a game thats entire purpose is to get loot that just doesn't have really good loot- even with these "special" keys.
And I absolutely did not purchase the game, although I held onto my copy an extra couple of days to milk as many keys as I could from them. I'll go back to it when I can pick it and all the dlc up used from GameStop. I'm in no hurry to go back to it.
If you want to support developers, fantastic. Just make it good developers. Gearbox should take a lesson from Deep Silver.

Seeing how the keys were a pre-order incentive and was initially left at that, it's actually nice of them to go out and give out more keys. Also, loot is level based, so if you went and spent your golden key(s) when you were a low level then yeah you got a really kick ass gun, but as soon as you leveled past it, it becomes useless. This is why it's best to wait until you're in the 30s or even max level to use a key. That's what I'm doing at least. Is the system they are using to give out these extra keys perfect? No, not by a longshot but they're at least putting forth the effort to try and do so.
Graphics wise you have to realize that Gearbox is working with a machine that is 7 years old. A machine that unlike a computer can not have parts swapped in and out to improve performance. Texture pop ins are going to happen no matter what they did.
As for how Pitchford has treated people, I can't really say I blame him that he might talk down to a few people when I'm pretty sure he's just been getting blasted by people who constantly just put "your game sucks" or other phrases to try and troll him.
You seem to be getting pretty "buttflustered" over nothing really, hell I wasn't even this mad when the game launched on PC and I was having trouble connecting to friends to do co-op.
