Borderlands 2: Golden Key - 10k Use Code (PC, 360, PS3)
Randy Pitchford (Prez of Gearbox) just gave out a code for 10k uses (1 use per account) for a Borderlands 2 Golden Key, you redeem this in-game through the "Extras" item on the main menu through Shift.

360 code is no longer valid. Sent it to a friend.
Disregard this comment. He was not entering it from in game.

EDIT: do it from borderlands 2, have to be shift member. This is in the borderlands thread

i suggest trying the code again if it didn't work the first time, i tried it like 15 mins after it didn't work and got a key.

Edit: Ok so apparently it did work, only instead of giving me one key, it gave me three. Q _ Q

Have you registered with Shift?
The codes will need to be entered through the game, I belive it is under extras. As long as you are registered with Shift, you should see an option that says Shift Code. Click on that. You'll see five boxes. Enter the codes in there. You can only enter five characters in each box, so you'll have to go enter in part 1 of the code in the first box, hit enter, select the second box, enter in the part 2 of the code, hit enter and finish the rest of the boxes following that guideline.

I did register after I saw this thread, but it kept saying the code had already been redeemed so I figured that it just meant I missed out on the 10k free keys, but then I loaded the game and there it was.

it did the same thing to me, i tried again like 15 mins later and it worked.
ihad to try again since a few people posted after i tried it and said they grabbed a key,wait like 10 mins then try it.

Did you type the whole thing in again or just leave it on the screen and resubmit later? I keep hitting submit and it's taking longer and longer but still saying it failed.
Bummer, but that's pretty much how my luck works, lol. I need someone way higher leveled than me let me join their game and do the gold chest glitch. :/

I'm going to try it now. Will edit/post again with results. Xbox 360, by the way.
Edit #1: It says it's been redeemed already. I'm going to clear out and try it again in 15 minutes.
Edit #2: Nope, didn't work after 15 minutes. I think it's just been used to the 10K limit. Figures.
