I wouldn't mind a smaller 4 v 4 GoW tourney, with fewer teams, thus less No Shows/Forfeits. And especially one that is not held so close to the holidays, as that kept a lot of potential players from playing.

This tournament went so smooth the rounds just flew by. Theres no reason for smaller tournament next time, the next tournament should be at least double in size i think. We played four rounds in three hours, so if the amount of teams were doubled there would be one more round so it would only take another 45 minutes, which is not a problem at all.
The tournament chat works wonders as well, it was very organized. Great tournament zoboa and xboxamerica.

There were quite a few No Shows... more teams, will likely result in even more No Shows. Less teams, with an additional player per team, means more likelihood that all registered teams will actually show up and play. Not to mention that the game will play as it was meant to be played, as opposed to the shorthanded 3 v 3. The game and maps were all designed around a 4 v 4 gameplay mechanic.
And there were a total of 5 rounds played, not 4. Only reason why it all went smoothly was due to the forethought by the organizers to have a chat room for everyone to meet in, work things out and communicate, and the quick decisions made on the fly when all of those teams failed to show. This could have been a disaster.
