Quote by Nick:
i think it's like an 8 hour expansion. no way you can complete it by the afternoon
lol it was like an hour tops. it wasn't bad but doesn't really add to the storyline.

Im still on my first playthrough, loving the game so far, give it about an 8 or 8.5 out of 10. I went all the way through Bright Falls at night and made it to the helicopter though and while reloading my gun I backed off the f'ing helipad and fell down the cliff and died! I was pissed, now I have to go all the way back through that level to get that achieve, you can do chapter select for those achieves you miss correct? Also when I go through on Nightmare will ALL the collectibles be back where they were or just any that you missed/the nightmare manuscripts??

Yea the 8 hours made me laugh, I heard it took most people 30-45 min, an hour if searchin for the collectibles. Can anyone answer my questions though, do all the collectibles reappear when u play through on Nightmare or only the ones u missed/nightmare manuscripts and can u just do episode select for the 3 30 points area specific achieves?

1. all manuscripts appear, as the signs and boxes full of items. The thermos only show the one's you haven't collected. (I used a guide for my misssing collectibles, extremely helpful.)
2. yes there are load points which you can continue for the 30 point achievements. the levels are usually broken up into 3 acts each.
Finally I found the last thermos, it was right next to the last manuscript I needed.
only 3 more achievements left!

Thats really stupid that the manuscripts show up, I understand the signs and boxes reshowing up since the boxes are actually useful and contain supplies. Thank god there are load points, only one that will be troublesome is the make it to the lake in under 30 minutes I think, I left off right at the beginning of the area where u cant shoot so Im gonna try for that on my first try in the morning hopefully. So far I havent missed a collectible BUT I almost got screwed out of a bunch because I was dodging at a safe house type area where there was a generator and I got hit and knocked off the ledge and it made me miss like 5-7 collectibles and skip a whole cutscene area. Thankfully I managed to glitch my way up a rock by jumping repeatedly and I backtracked all the way up the mountain and recollected everything I missed.

Love this game! Just finished the "Signal" last night. It was okay sorta the same as the rest of the game didn't add a lot, but got me back to playing it again and now I am going to try and conquer nightmare mode and finish up the few achievements I have left. So far this is my favorite game this year!

Got it from the Waffle Thread and I'm just about done with my first run-thru. So far, it's been pretty forgettable. Unless the ending floors me, I'm gonna give it maybe a 7.5/10. The story is not bad but not too great either. I like how they set it up like your watching a TV series but the action has been very repetitive. Are either of the DLC worth getting?

I liked the first DLC although it was really short, it's very combat oriented and a very easy 250 pts, think the first one is the Signal? I bought the Writer on sale too, but haven't got the game back to try it yet.
