Perhaps I should of just thought of an idea for another badge. Maybe then you wouldn't come across so hostile. Seems to me that new comers aren't the only ones that can be rude. It's not a bad idea really. I think, like in my case, people don't always have a phone capable of running these apps, and probably don't even care though. I do think the facebook page and the twitter page should update a little more, i agree with that. I know alot of people who practically live on facebook(so sad) so when they see an update they would be more likely to log on and maybe leave a comment or two. By the way, i am also a member of x360a. com and the people i have met there are just as cool as the people here. I am an achievement whore, i admit it, but i just love games in general and any way i can i get an update on the "next best thing" is cool with me!!

No one came across hostile. Everyone was just expressing their individual views on your idea. There may have been a lack of tact in some statements. But if you stick around long enough, you will realize that we are a close knit type of family. I don't agree with Melissa on about 90% of her views or 80% of AJ's (the percentages are there for Taco). But I hold their opinons in high esteem. Your ideas hold value and have very good merit. I highly encourage you and others to put forth your ideas on making this website better and never let anyone discourage you or cause you to stray away from your ideas. You may have not had a complete thought but myself and others built off your idea. And yes, the idea has been floated around 4 or 5 times before and it will be floated around another dozen or so times.

Zyker, we <3 u and suggestions are always good, but yes some people are resistant to change, and none of us want the community to grow too fast lest it become impersonal, and lastly there are a few members who just talk very directly. Don't take it as hostile, because if it is meant so there will be no mistaking it and I have to take them to The Room and whip them.
Ideas are always welcome, just don't expect them to be constantly and consistently embraced with open arms. XBA isn't trying to be the biggest or best or most popular Xbox community in any way; rather, we just like having good folk to play games with or talk about stuff and provide relevant information at the same time. That information, ie tech articles, reviews, news, etc., is the very last of our priorities.

hey on a new topic idea for the site... maybe a badge of some sort to encourage our users to use the chat feature.... we all have a chance to show our aim yahoo messengers and that kinda encourages talking to people on there, where we have a chat feature that barely gets used. OR go States wide and introduce XAmerica messenger lol. haha i duno just a bored thought. suggestion to bring the community closer by chatting actively while getting achievements..... "shrugs" (XAmerica Messenger idea patent pending,trademark, copyrighted dont steal my idea lol)
