I was thinking about getting a 60 Gig HD after I get SFIV. I was wondering how much room does one game take? I also noticed the background picture is chopped but at least you can see it without having clutter in front of it.

I got a 60 GB hard drive the other day and I'm going to burn Shadowrun to my hard drive since that's the main game I play no matter what games come out and I'll let you know how much space it takes up (if someone doesn't already reply to this)

A dual-layer DVD only holds about 8.5GBs of data, so there is no game that can be bigger than that right now. Many are most likely to be less.

Yea, I've noticed problems on and off as far as pictures go. I would attribute it to the fact that everything gets pulled from xbox.com, and since the NXE update they may have changed the way data was accessed previously. My guess is Boobie will have some homework

if any of you guys planned on putting halo 3 on your HD, word of advice

Well, after 24 hours with the new play from hard drive feature, I'm sold. It makes the console so much quieter. Load times have not dropped off dramatically. I have not noticed a decrease in picture quality. To me it's worth it to not hear that freaking DVD drive running constantly.
As far as how long it takes to copy. I can say it's less than half as long as it takes to download a game demo from the marketplace. Less than 10 minutes to copy over Too Human and that's a 6 gig game.

i never hear my dvd drive, come to think of it, of the 8 boxes i've owned (mine were all replacements from ms), only one was noisy.......ahh #6..... i used to love that one though....god rest her soul.
