Don't shoot the messenger, but from what I've read, what level you're in is not determined by your current gamerscore, but by how many gamer points that you obtain each year (for lv1 0 4,999 annual Gamerscore). For example, if your gamerscore right now is 6,000, because you got 3000 gamer points the first year you had your xbox, and 3000 gamer points the second year you had your 360, then you would be lv1, not lv2.

Yea, that makes sense except that hasn't it only been a few months past a year that the 360 has been out?

True, true, I didn't think of that. I've just been to a few places were a bunch of people have been bitchin because it is "annual" gamerscore. I don't think it's a big deal now, but if MS keeps doing promotions like that it may become more of an issue.
