Would you pay $300 for a Rock Band 2 drum kit?

Thats not a fantasy question, but a decision some people get to make in the near future. Kotaku has an Kotaku up on the new ION Drum Rocker, a $300 Rock Band 2 drum peripheral. The thing looks like the most authentic kit on the market, with the four pads, ability to add up to three cymbals and a heavy-duty, all-metal foot pedal. Toss in custom settings for each pad, and this thing could rock if you had the money to blow.

Some people spend that much on those racing wheels for the driving games.

It would depend on if you were truly going to use it as a stand alone drum kit as well. If so, you're killin' two birds with one stone.

HaHa...Not me...my controller for racing is fine and if i can use my original rockband drum set than there is no need in buying this one.
But I do need to give credit...the thing looks nice

although it does look VERY cool...no
but hey, just think, there are people who'll buy it..just like people will spend 200$ on the halo 3 master chief helmet (saw it on ebay) and pay like..102$ for an originaly gameboy (the really huge ones) and a super mario (or tetris) game
i wont, but many people prolly will
