Welcome to Madden Week

Every year, there is a single week in the gaming industry where both grown adults and children alike leave their places of work and play to be at their favorite retailer at open. Why? To secure their copy of the latest Madden game from EA Sports.

Despite Madden 08 being the third release on the Xbox 360 console, this year looks to be the first time that it will actually take advantage of the advanced hardware to produce the smoothest and most graphically enhanced version yet. With Madden Holiday only a few days away, lets hope that this year we finally get the game we expected in 2005

Too bad it looks too much like madden07. It seems like they gave the RB's such a high advantage, it looks like LT cant be stopped AT ALL. The player strength system thing looks like it clutters too much with the logos under them. Ahem, NCAA has had that kind of stuff for years now.

Graphically, it looks leaps and bounds better than Madden 07. I've seen it, this game is smooth and uses all the graphics power of the 360...

who cares, it still looks too much like 07 and isnt worth 60 bucks at all with the games coming out soon.

Madden is basically always the same every year. The only thing they changed graphically are the hit animations and what not. The graphics still look the same. The gameplay may be smooth, but not as smooth as the 60fps that NCAA08 puts out. Ive already seen the reviews and no, it does not run at 60fps. NFL stands for the no fun league anyways, college football is where its at. The only thing I can actually credit 08 for is the fact that each runningback has a different style and you have to run with each one differently. The online will of course be garbage as all EA games are online, laggy and difficult to play with cheesers. I'm not trying to be a dick or anything, but if you're saying its otherwise good when YOU haven't played it, you're just blowing yourself. Now that I see APF08 as a game you own, I can't help but laugh. The so called "madden killer" flopped faster than ohio state did in the national championship.

Quite wrong my friend, it does run at 60 fps on the Xbox 360. The graphics DO look better (and not just the hits). I have seen the game and played it live, which you obviously haven't.

No offense, as I usually respect people's opinion's, but if you want to be a d*ck on our boards, you wont be here long. I appreciate your contributions, but quite frankly you talk a whole lot out your ass on stuff you have no clue about.

As for All-Pro Football 2K8, XboxAmerica received it as a review copy from 2K Sports. I popped it in for a quick run. You can expect a full review of it from Hoch in the next couple of weeks.

haha, this partially has to do with the whole nyko thing that I had bad experience with and you guys said I had no clue about, when it almost blew my system up. Please don't contradict yourself about me being a dick when you're saying I talk out of my ass. I'll pass on donating money if people are going to criticize opinions (everyone has one) by saying I blow smoke out of my ass or I talk a lot out of my ass. Frankly you can kiss mine, I'll leave crooklynmayo to post on here 125 times a day here, I'll go back to xbox.com where you can actually say what you feel. You're just mad because EA has done you wrong too many times with half-assed games that they are too lazy to actually pay attention to. Lets make the same need for speed games over and over again and change their names...durr. I really dont care if it looks better or whatever, it still plays the same with logos under their feet. Thats a great reason to buy a game! I'll save my money for a real game like bioshock or halo 3...you know...games that actually had hard work put into them. I have played apf2k8 and sad enough, I would rather play madden06 (the worst madden of all) than that trashy game. Go ahead and ban me, at least I know I went out stating what I feel and not conforming to your ignorance you call a prior post to this one. PEACE

And of course, you have nothing to say about the issue just like when I told you guys how it was regarding nyko. In other words, you're a fucking pussy and you decided to piss me off then wither away like madden has year after year after the 04 and 05 versions. This site is basically the NYKO of xbox forums. Cheap, crappy, and lack of experience and respect to the customer, or poster in your case. I take no sweat from nobody, not even a petty "forum administrator". Do everyone a favor and give your job to crooklynmayo, god knows he is more active than the entire staff...combined. In a nutshell, you wish you had my wits and intelligence...but I guess thats why you're a forum administrator for a sub-par website. Sounds like an appealing way to make money, if you even do.

That would be the two admins and the super mod at the top 3 spots. You need to stop basing all your information on your little fantasy world. You have no facts ever for all of your arguments. You are just asking for someone who is well informed, Z, to just tell you what the real deal is. Just because you dont see me or someone else on the staff posting much, it doesn't mean we aren't doing things behind the scenes here to make it better. I read every single post, every single thread on this site. That is why I am on the staff.

Am I supposed to care? You two are more annoying than any sony fanboy I have met or the radio announcer in the new lame versions of madden. I'm here to annoy the fuck out of you with arguments, it's what I like to do. You are mad because I am shit talking madden due to the fact that its a sub par game and the fans of the older games keep drinking the kool-aid hoping the game will be like it used to be; actually good. I never said you guys didn't have the top 3 spots, frankly you should. As of late, cm has put you guys to shame though with posts, opinons and what not. I really don't care what you guys do behind the scenes, or between the sheets together I should say. Don't talk for your homeboy that decided to be a bitch and not respond to my argument, let him be a man or continue to be a pussy.
