I'm going to say no for the fact that every gaming related magazine had halo 3 on the cover for 3 months straight so im like oh yeah this game is gonna have so much to do! But don't get me wrong halo 3 is an excellent game but what they were all hypeing for it wasn'twhat i expected IMO.

No. The campaign was mediocre and the multiplayer is a prettier version of what we had 3 years ago.

I think it did, but I could definitely go for more maps.

Here's a third vote for some new maps. Or at least let me see some of the other maps the friggin game shipped with! No word of a lie, shotty snipers on Narrows 5 times in a row the other night! That sucked.
All in all, I think it lived up to the hype, however we'll have to see what the future holds. It seems to me that every couple of months the 360 has a hot new game that everyone plays, but the real question is can Halo 3 follow through like it's predecessor and outstay that?
We all had GR:AW when 360 was released. People played that game forever; then we had Gears of War, and everyone played that for mad long. Now I don't ever see anyone on my friend's list playing it. Then we had Rainbow Six: Vegas, which, it seems, has lasted the longest out of any of the aforementioned games. I actually still see people playing Vegas, and with good reason!
Now we have Halo 3. So, can Halo 3 break this mold; will we still see people on our friend's list playing it in 8, 10, or 12 months? I would think so, but I say that with a little uncertainty.
