the game takes awhile to get into, taco.

i got megaton t ohate me, and i cant get into the armory or wherever to do anything nice for people to raise my karma! i cant even hardly get into megaton without them assaulting me!

you get EXP for picking locks, hacking terminals and killing stuff too!
you just get way more EXP for missions lol.
and yeah, the game is much easier if you're good.
i was evil my first time. not easy. screwed up a few cheevies too.
if you don't like it, by all means, i'm not trying to force you to keep it.
though i really think you'll be missing out on a masterpiece.

Just start your game over seriously. Once you piss off megaton it's all downhill from there anyway. I was 3.5 hours into the game then started over and am now 2.5 hours into the game and higher level with much much more to show for it.

I bought the big time special edition strategy guide for Fallout 3...Still can't get into it though, I took the game back and kept the book in case I get the game again and can actually get into it.
