If there is one person that you could compare to Patrick Bateman, it would be me, except I have another sweet side as well.

haha, American Psycho is my favorite movie, hands down. Christian Bale played that part so well its sickening, when I think of him I think of pat bateman, not batman. It goes hand and hand with kelso from that 70's show being ashton kutcher.

Why? Because I first hand experienced Nykos garbage products? If I seen the owner of the company first hand, Id give him/her a 3-piece right to the jaw.
I respectfully disagree with you syztem. NYKO makes some of the best third-party accessories on the market today. And yes, I have met the owner of the company first hand at CES in January. I'm not sure why the hate (bad experience maybe?), but every NYKO product I have reviewed (Xbox 360, Wii or PS3) or been able to demo at CES has been a top tier piece of equipment. They are innovative, built with quality components and feel strong in your hands.
As for the Intercooler, it does exactly what it says it will, and that is increase the airflow from your game system and reduce internal temps. The design of drawing air out is superior in every way to anything Pelican or the others make where it pushes air through. The little amount of power required to turn the three small fans is insignificant and DOES NOT take away to much, nor harm the power supply of the Xbox 360 (confirmed by both NYKO and Microsoft people who know). Nor does this connection cause it to "melt" or "scorch" the Intercooler and Xbox 360 chassis together. It is simple electrical engineering.
The only instances of the Intercooler not properly interacting with the Xbox 360 center around human error, most notably not aligning and installing the Intercooler to the back of the Xbox 360 chassis correctly. If it isn't plugged in properly, it can cause the lights to come on. This is not due to product failure, but human error.
I would be interested in why you hate NYKO so much, as in what product it was that failed so miserably that causes you to absolutely hate the company. I can pass it along to them if you want.....

third party is third party garbage. Ill stick to actual microsoft products. As I said earlier, I dont need the intercooler because Im not foolish enough to put my box in a confined space or think that I depend on the intercooler for anything. Its pretty much a pointless product. Sure you can put a bunch of fans in your computer, but no one said you need them. Does the intercooler make the xbox perform better? Nope. Am I able to play my xbox just as long as if I had the intercooler on? YES. I'll be a chap and stick to my statement about nyko, nothing personal. Im almost sure if my xbox would have fried because of the intercooler, nyko would tell me to f*ck off, leading to that 3-piece we discussed earlier to your CES buddy.

Well, no one is my "buddy", as I was there covering the show and we had an appointment to interview NYKO and see their newly released product lines.
I understand your wanting to stick with official Microsoft products, but to sit there and bash NYKO for being a third-party vendor and claim that all third-party vendor stuff is crap is plain silly. I review third-party stuff all the time and the majority of it is decent, cost-effective options to the official product line. Yes, there is some absolute trash out there, but in my opinion NYKO does not contribute to it.
From what I can gather from your posts, you had purchased the Intercooler, got scared that it was going to fry your 360, took it off and now say you didn't even need it anyways and it is a piece of shit. That about right? So where is the horrible experience that is driving your displeasure with NYKO?
Please don't take this personal, I just like having a spirited discussion on the topic.

uh bro, it almost melted itself to my console, it left a tad bit of melted plastic in the prongs of my psu plug in and if i would have had it on any longer, my xbox would have been fucked. For a while the power plug didnt go in right, thanks nyko!
