this almost belongs in the "what floats my boat" thread but i don't feel like necromancy this evening. for the last week, my boss has been on vacation. as a sub, i've been working under my old boss chris.
now.... this guy is a complete dick wad. he's intelligent, but in a really annoying/nerdy/power trip kind of way. i hate him. out of the 300 or so people i work with collectively, he's the only one i really can't stand.
anyway, like always, he's been going on and on about how his wife left him and how she's missing out and yada yada. telling me what i'm doing wrong, this that and the other, and the entire time i'm just grinning my ass off, considering how well i'm doing compared to him. that might sound a tad harsh, but you'd have to meet him lol. he is on a CONSTANT 24/7 power trip. you'd hate him too. it's actually amazing that his wife didn't leave him earlier. shit... the fact that he ever got married in the first place is a miracle.
other than that.... 3 day weekend! woot!!!
i'll be getting back into jericho here shortly.

I've really gotten into Battlestar Galactica lately. I always thought it looked kinda gay but my brother told me to start watching it a few months ago and our tastes in entertainment (movies, tv shows, music & books) differ very little. I'm a disc into the third season and I've been absolutely hooked since I started with the mini-series. I'm so glad I took his advice cause I'm usually really picky when it comes to sci-fi TV shows.
I was always a fan of The X-Files(show & movies) and lately am really into Lost, Fringe & Heroes. I never really got into Star Trek (aside from the occasional re-run of the original series and the movies especially the new one) or Stargate (I did like the original movie). Any other Galactica fans out there?
On the gaming front, I'm really getting into Far Cry 2. I got it from gamefly the other day. Aside from getting used to driving around in 1st person, I've no complaints except it has a bunch of online multiplayer achievements.

Just got back from the hospital. Had a 102 temp. After 3 hours of waiting my fever broke, my temp dropped back to 98 FTW. Then i found out it was just a simple infection.
