I recently was browsing around on the EBgames site to check out a few release dates. They had a little PS3 plug in the corner saying if you buy an 80gb PS3, you get 5 free blu-ray movies. I had no idea that it was already out, so I clicked on it. Mainly all of the reviews discussed how this particular version did not support backwards compatibility.

It is going to use a weaker software emulation system. That is a huge kick in the face to me, not that I like Sony or anything. How do they expect to compete when their SKU selection as well as the pricepoints are just terrible? Any way you look at it, Sony is polishing up your bee-hind!

Sony right now is hurting to get some face time with the wii in first place and the Xbox running a close second. I don't know why Sony decided to keep forcing the price plan they have on the public. Gues they have some other ideas we don't know about

The only thing that makes the Wii so appealing is its intuitiveness. Once I played it, I was like, "This is it?". When you play the tennis game, you aren't even moving your character, you just swing! How lame is that? The graphical power for the Wii is really going to hurt it in the long run, especially when we see games like Bioshock, CoD4, Mass Effect, and Crysis showing off absolutely stunning graphics. Can you get that on the Wii? I RECKON NOT.

The Wii has its niche market, and that is older folks, younger kids and family fun. More than likely, Peter Moore was correct when he said many households will have a 360 or PS3 complimented by a Nintendo Wii.

Well I know that the Xbox 360 has staying power. The one thing they have grown and learn to do over the years they have been in the market is to create and market games that people WANT TO PLAY. I mean yes, graphics are important but if a game sucks to play it just sucks to play. Example: Call of Duty 3 was a very good looking game, but doesn't even begin to hold a candle to the game play of Call of Duty 2.
