this stuff kind of makes me nervous. I mean I know I am one of the states that hasn't had a report of it yet, but it COULD happen.
I just started working at the mall last week and now I feel sick as shit and have no medical insurance. Been disinfecting my kiosk all morning with lysol and all but I do need hand sanitizer big time.

I'm not afraid of no damn flu! Anyways, I'm really annoyed by it.....sick of every local news constantly spending half the newscast covering it, it's just another former of the flu.
I hate this to. I was watching the news a few days ago, and all they had was that being displayed. for like half the whole broadcast period.

I work in the media so naturally I got stuck spending the day over at the University of Delaware b/c they have four "probable" cases. So tired of these "Disease of the Week" stories.

i wouldn't go rushing the doors of your local walmart just yet, but for those of you who are shrugging this off, keep your eye on the news. the only casualties so far are from mexico, but there's still been about 200 of them. this isn't the same thing we've encountered before, and it's still spreading.

i might sound a little paranoid, but i have kids i worry about.
the best thing we can do at this point is wash our hands and cover our mouths.
sound familiar?

The new strain is an apparent reassortment of several strains of influenza A virus subtype H1N1, which analysis at the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) identified as a strain endemic in humans, a strain endemic in birds, and two strains endemic in American and Eurasian pigs (swine).

The media wants you to be scared.. government and their ways to get people to live in fear.. I mean its a problem but it isn't that serious as of yet and even if it is, your mind determines how bad you get sick and how well you can heal
