I was thinking, could it be possible to put a total of all registered members for each leaderboard? Like maybe you could put the total right before the first gamertag on each board. This way people could see which state has the biggest gamerscore and if they aren't registered, they might see that their state needs more points and might be more likely to register. Just throwing out the idea.

i like this idea i think it is great but there is the problem with the ohio they would probaly be in the lead for a long time (have the most people!)

True but thats just it. People will see that Ohio is in first and if there from a different state be like "crap, I should join to help get my state up to the top" or something along those lines.

I like this idea. How about a states overview leaderboard? It would be a leaderboard of all 50 states, plus Washington DC and Canada. It'd have the total gamerscore, member numbers, and anything else you guys can think up.

Maybe you could have the total for each individual state somewhere on the state/america/canada leaderboards, for easy reference. Then, also have the totals on an overview leaderboard as well. On the overview leaderboard, maybe have ways to sort the states such as highest to lowest gs, lowest to highest gs, state with most members from high to low and low to hi, etc.
