Yeah i definitely liked this game but I REALLY don't think it was worth the $60+tax. You got that weird glitch that says you havent collected anything when you really have plus the game is way too repetitive and 8 hours of gameplay that they try and call a story was wayyyyyy to short.

Ok so the long wait is over Star Wars:The Force Unleashed is finally upon us to fill in the gap between episodes III and IV,before I go into this review any further I will tell you the game takes place closer to A New Hope than Revenge of the Sith. You take the role of Darth Vaders secret apprentice Starkiller (geek points to anyone who gets that) as his apprentice you are tasked to travel from place to place world to world hunting down and killing all remaining Jedi who have yet been killed by the empire, yet all the while keeping the fact you exist secret from the emperor. The story as well as levels are littered with things that tie the game to all movies (while on Kashyyk look for a cetain gungan frozen in carbonite). Worlds old and new alike look fantastic with the euphoria engine at work, force push trees and they will bend and break if you\'re strong enough throw explosives at enemies and watch them try to duck for cover or perhaps my favorite force hold a stormtrooper and watch him try to hold onto railings as well as his fellow allies in a futile attempt to stop his demise. While the story is somewhat good it will never live up to the original movies storylines, this isn\'t helped by the fact that the game can be beaten in less than eight hours with almost no incentive to go back and replay the game besides the fact that you are more powerful and have a few more costumes to try out. Now for the Dark Side of this game which show up in the form of glitches, I\'ve ran into so many I really can\'t laugh at them anymore things such as collision detection is almost a joke with this game numerous times while battling Shaak Ti she would end up getting stuck outside the map, while on another level I found a spot where I would sink into the ground until my stomach was at floor level. I have also read that the game sometimes doesn\'t save the level progress on some levels and sometimes a level with a bonus objective won\'t even tell you what it is. Enemy A.I. is another problem certain times enemies won\'t even realize you are there until after you\'ve attacked and nearly killed them, or they will try to run away and get caught on the ground so it looks like they are trying to moonwalk to cover. So far I\'ve unlocked one of two endings and without giving anything away I will say this the second ending had best be better as the one I got contradicted episodes IV,V,and VI so it left me with one question how involved was George Lucas with the story and the game overall? Overall this game is a great piece of Star Wars lore if you are a huge fan like myself, but if you were disgusted by episodes I,II,and III this won\'t be the game for you if you\'re looking for story. I would say this was worth the $60 if most of the easy glitches had been caught and fixed but seeing how they weren\'t I am forced to say this is a rent at best and nothing more.
Final Score:7/10

If anyone cares (or read my other post) I agree with this! Definately a rent.
