Social Gaming Thread Section..?
12/20/08 9:42 pm | #1
Basically, it is just another thread section of this site that only accepts topics of invitations to play games or accept friend requests (etc.) It is just like the Prime Time thread on Xbox.com and I think it would benefit the community because first off, a lot of casual gamers will want to check out our site for us gamers and what we do and gamers also tend to know each other when they game with each other...Am I right?

doesn't really sound necessary to me, personally.
this community is pretty small, and there's the xba game night every week...
posting topics about boosting certain games isn't exactly restricted here, either.

my first xba night was a week or two ago, lol.
it was just me, one shot, repo and a couple others.
not sure how big it used to be, but yeah... it seems nobody wants to do it anymore.

just goes to show that it only takes one persons negativity to take down a whole group. i'm sorry she felt she had the need to leave this site because things weren't going HER way. i mean, she was the only one with the negative comments and she was the only one complaining and i know i'm digging up shit here but this stuff wasn't resolved and i believe meg and her circle of friends have something to do with boycotting xba nights. then again i could be wrong, and it may be coincidental, but i gotta calls em like i sees em and thats how i sees em right now.

i have to assume you're correct on that.
maybe not to the entirety of meg taking down xba night, but she did in fact make many negative comments on the whole thing. if i remember correctly, she even once trashed another member, saying something along the lines of "what do YOU care? YOU don't even compete in xba night!"
again, i can't hold her completely responsible, but it makes you wonder.
and she was never less than bitter towards me...

in all honesty and fairness to everyone, i'll go with you on that, but i've seen some funny shit going on which leads me to believe otherwise. but from what i saw, she was mostly bitter PERIOD! i'm not here to bash anyone if that's what it seems but it's pretty sad when one person feels they have the need to dictate that everyone else walks on eggshells around them. hopefully she'll read this so she knows where i'm coming from......

i believe you hit that nail on the head!
and yeah, she'll probably end up reading this. most people that "claim" to leave a forum actually don't. they stick around for awhile undetected and see who talks about them LOL.
god.. this thread has gone horribly askew and i feel oh so dirty!

*spins soap on the rope around on finger*
Did someone say they felt dirty? *wink* Ha-Ha
I would be down for some XBA night, I just don't have a continous internet connection...I bring my consol to my parents house every once in a while to update my score and whatever else...But as soon as I get an internet connection in my house I will mos' def' be down for some gamage.
I agree with you two about you know who....but who cares you know? One bad apple is not going to spoil this bunch....Never has....and it never will

I liked playin' in 'em but Saturday is a horrible day for me since I work all day that day. I usually come home, play an arcade game or a quick game of Madden to keep my streak alive and go to sleep. Sunday, however, is a different story.
